Montesano Visits Endo Pharmaceuticals

Highlights local business working to help national pharmaceutical shortage and local community

Assemblyman Michael A. Montesano (R,I,C-Glen Head) recently toured the Endo Pharmaceuticals plant in Westbury and met with employees at the research-and-development facility. Montesano applauded the company for providing both high-value branded products and specialty generics in a pharmaceutical market riddled with shortages and noted the positive economic effects the plant has had on the surrounding community.

“Endo Pharmaceuticals has worked to better our community as well as address the ongoing nationwide pharmaceutical shortage,” said Montesano. “My tour through its Westbury facility showed me a strong local job creator that is maintaining good-paying jobs right here in Long Island. It is wonderful to see a business working to address the needs of our nation’s patients as well as helping its community thrive.

“This company reaches out into the community through corporate contributions, gift programs and other outreach-related efforts in order to better the lives of those around them.
