Montesano To Host Women Of Distinction Event, Nomination Deadline On April 9

On Friday, May 11 Assemblyman Michael Montesano (R, I, C – Glen Head) is hosting a Women of Distinction event honoring women who go above and beyond to make our communities a better place to live, work and raise a family, and is encouraging residents to submit their nominations by April 9.

“Over the years, I have met countless women whose work enriches the lives of everyone in our community on a daily basis, but, too often, their vital contributions go unnoticed,” said Montesano. “I am hosting this Women of Distinction award ceremony to honor them for working tirelessly to make a difference, and I strongly urge residents to submit a nomination by the April 9 deadline.”

The 2012 Women of Distinction awards will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Glen Head Community Center in Glen Head on May 11. Please contact Assemblyman Montesano’s district office at 516-937-3571 for a nomination form or with any questions regarding this special event.
