Assemblywoman Michelle Schimel Reads to Manorhaven Students

Manorhaven, New York – Assemblywoman Michelle Schimel recently participated in the 2012 Community Read Aloud at the Manorhaven Elementary School. The Assemblywoman brought one of her favorite books, Frog and Toad, to read to Mrs. Levin’s first grade class. The book, by Arnold Lobel, features humorous, sometimes poignant short stories chronicling the exploits of a frog and his friend, a toad. The duo attempt to fly a kite, clean a messy house and figure out how to be alone.
