“Letter People Parade" At Washington Street School Celebrates Successful School Year

Assemblyman serves as Grand Marshal

Assemblyman Ed Ra (21st Assembly District) recently joined this year’s kindergarten class at Washington Street Elementary School for their annual “Letter People Parade.” During the parade, Assemblyman Ra and the students walked the halls of the school singing the alphabet in celebration of another successful school year.

“The students did a spectacular job during the procession, and I was honored to serve as the grand marshal,” said Ra. “The Letter People Parade is an important tradition that allows the youngsters to share their joy of learning with their fellow classmates. I had a wonderful time singing with the students and wish them the best of luck as they finish out the school year.”
