New York State Assemblyman Bill Reilich (R,C,I-Greece) has been honored as a recipient of the Greater Rochester Association of Realtors Honor Society Award for 2008. Each year, the Greater Rochester Association of Realtors (GRAR) recognizes those individuals, firms or entities that have assisted their Association in achieving its mission statement, while advancing the industry as a whole. The mission of the GRAR is to provide resources, promote professionalism, advance real property rights and position its members for success.
“As a fellow small businessman, I am honored to receive this recognition from GRAR. At a time when we are all feeling the pinch of a strained economy, the members (the small business owners) of the Greater Rochester Association of Realtors continue to help move our economy forward through their diligence on behalf of all of our current and future homeowners in the Rochester region. I look forward to continuing our strong working relationship,” Reilich said.
Assemblyman Reilich accepted the award at the GRAR’s Awards Dinner and Annual Meeting which was held on Friday, November 14 at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center. Assemblyman Reilich was also pleased to join County Executive Maggie Brooks in assisting with the installation of the 2009 GRAR and Women’s Council of Realtors officers.
