Reilich: $6.7 Million In Highway Projects In Monroe County
Assemblyman announces stimulus money projects to benefit Monroe County
June 4, 2009

Assemblyman Bill Reilich (R,C,I-Greece) announced today that over $6.7 million in highway projects will begin in Monroe County as a result of the Federal stimulus bill passed earlier this year. The highway projects will result in the resurfacing of a number of roads, primarily in the city of Rochester and town of Greece.

“The $6.7 million in projects that will be brought to our area will ensure work for a number of highway department crews,” stated Reilich. “This is a great opportunity to stimulate the economy in the Greece area, while making much-needed improvements to area highways.”

Highway resurfacing will take place on Dewey Avenue, Long Pond Road, English Road, East Ridge Road, North Goodman Street, Thomas Avenue, Culver Road, Panorama Trail and Old English Road. The projects are slated for completion by this fall.
