Assemblyman Bill Reilich (R,C,I-Greece) today announced that an informational seminar for veterans 55 years of age and older will be held at Monroe Community College on Thursday, June 24 at 1:00 p.m. The seminar, which will take place at the Brighton Campus, building number 5, room 100, will provide veterans an opportunity to meet with state and county veteransí benefits counselors and schedule a time for their "benefit checkup."
"I urge veterans in our area to attend this event to ensure they are receiving the maximum benefits available to them," stated Reilich. "It is because of the selfless sacrifice of those who have served our country that we are able to enjoy a free and abundant life. While we will never be able to fully return the favor, this is the perfect opportunity to ensure they are receiving the benefits they deserve."
