Reilich: Budget A Step In The Right Direction

“The passage of the 2011-12 state budget is a first step toward putting New York back on the path to prosperity. There were many difficult decisions made, on a bipartisan basis, to close New York’s massive $10 billion deficit.

“These hard choices needed to be made in order to relieve our overburdened taxpayers. I encourage Governor Cuomo to continue to identify additional ways to save taxpayer money and reduce the burden on small businesses, so that they can create more jobs, as we move forward in this legislative session.”
