Reilich Announces Men’s Health Week

Assemblyman Bill Reilich (R,C,I-Greece) has signed on to a resolution to mark the week of June 13 to 19, 2011, as Men’s Health Week in New York. Assemblyman Reilich noted the importance of increased education.

“By marking this week in June as Men’s Health Week, I hope that men and their families will take the opportunity to educate themselves on men’s health and the importance of regular medical checkups throughout life,” said Reilich. “Educational materials are readily available online. I hope this year we help more men become aware of their health. If they work to increase their knowledge of what tests and measures they should be current with, it will give them the best opportunity at a long and healthy life.”
