Assemblyman Gabryszak Meets with Students from University at Buffalo
March 8, 2011

“Today, I met with two University at Buffalo students, Henry Lin and Katelyn Carr, whose research on Food Reinforcement and Obesity: Psychological Moderators, was on display at the SUNY symposium. The SUNY symposium, held in the Albany Concourse, showcased research from students enrolled in SUNY graduate programs from across New York State.

“As a graduate of SUNY Buffalo, it is amazing to hear the impact that students are making in their chosen fields. UB has transformed into SUNY’s leading research-intensive public institution and continues to grow.

“These students are a shining example of why UB 2020 legislation must pass in the Assembly. We need to preserve the academic enthusiasm and creative energy of students studying in our own backyard, while creating and retaining jobs that will keep these young scholars in Western New York.”
