Assembly Passes Redistricting Reform

“Today, the Assembly passed legislation reforming the state's redistricting process. This legislation will call for an independent commission to draw the legislative lines in the future. With this issue behind us, we can fully concentrate on the issues affecting working families here in Western New York. We need to now focus on passing a fair, on-time, fiscally responsible budget that invests in economic development and infrastructure while cutting taxes for 99 percent of New Yorkers.”
