Assemblyman Santabarbara Announces FREE Naloxone Training Session in Amsterdam, NY

Free session to be offered as part of a continuing effort to combat opioid epidemic in NYS

Assemblyman Santabarbara has announced that the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services will provide a free naloxone training session in Amsterdam, NY. This session will teach participants how to recognize, respond to, and reverse an opioid overdose using Naloxone.

“Families across New York State and the entire nation have been torn apart by addiction and a heroin epidemic that has rapidly escalated,” said Assemblyman Santabarbara. “To see families lose loved ones to addiction is heartbreaking. This session can give people the necessary knowledge and training that can help save lives.”
