Beephan Celebrates First Day of 2024 Legislative Session

“Legislators from across the state returned to Albany for our reopening of business, and I feel optimistic about this year. Despite the challenges we face – from our state’s habit to overspend to our continuing migrant and criminal crisis – I and my fellow legislators are ready to face these challenges head-on. I’m equally enthusiastic about a number of bills I’ve sponsored passing this year, including Melanie’s Law, which will close the loopholes for family protection previously exploited. There’s a lot to be done this year, but I’ve returned to Albany ready to face those challenges, and ready to serve Dutchess County residents once more.”
