Curran: Music Excellence Taught In Baldwin

Assemblyman Brian Curran (Lynbrook-14th AD) recently hosted a pizza party for the second and first place band and chorus winners of the recent Music in the Parks Festival at Baldwin Middle School.

"These talented students made their community proud with their hard work, dedication and talent. The thrill of achieving these honors will stay with these students throughout their educational experiences and professional lives," said Curran. "The educators at Baldwin Middle School have successfully trained and taught a talented group of young students."

Baldwin Bruin Singers, winners of first place excellent rating in MS2 level at the Music in the Parks festival, with teacher Mrs. Barbara Ranieri and Assemblyman Curran.

"Extracurricular activities are known to engage students in academics and create well-rounded and successful future college students and professionals. I hope these students take advantage of the wonderful music programs offered in the Baldwin school system and keep up the rigorous practice to maintain their record of musical excellence," said Curran.
