Assemblyman Brian Curran (Lynbrook-14th AD) recently hosted a pizza party for the second and first place band and chorus winners of the recent Music in the Parks Festival at Baldwin Middle School.

"These talented students made their community proud with their hard work, dedication and talent. The thrill of achieving these honors will stay with these students throughout their educational experiences and professional lives," said Curran. "The educators at Baldwin Middle School have successfully trained and taught a talented group of young students."

"Extracurricular activities are known to engage students in academics and create well-rounded and successful future college students and professionals.
