On Tuesday, August 21st from 4:00-6:00PM, the Plainview-Old Bethpage Public Library, Cablevision, Disney and I are very pleased to sponsor an afternoon discussion with Newbery Honor children's author Gail Carson Levine. Ms. Levine is the author of many wonderful books for youngsters. Her novel "Ella Enchanted," a 1998 Newbery Honor Book, was made into a popular feature film starring Anne Hathaway in 2004. Gail will be reading from her new book "Fairy Haven and the Quest for the Wand." The Disney Channel will be filming this great event.
