Glen Cove – Assemblyman Charles D. Lavine would like to thank the community for their “Coats for Kids” donations.
Since early fall, Assemblyman Lavine’s Glen Cove District Office has been a drop off site. To date there have been several hundred coats donated. Including 102 coats collected by Sea Cliff 4th graders Stephanie Cuomo and Alaina Van Pak.
Donations collected will be dropped off at Randi’s Cleaners in Mineola where they will be cleaned then donated to children in need.
Assemblyman Lavine has participated in this charitable endeavor sponsored by the National Cleaners Association since taking office in 2005.
