Assemblyman Lavine: Speaks to Nassau County Interns

Glen Cove, N.Y.-Assemblyman Charles D. Lavine was invited to participate in Nassau County Presiding Officer Diane Yatauro’s Summer Intern Speaking Series.

Assemblyman Lavine addressed issues such as the proposed property tax cap, red light cameras, subprime mortgage crisis and other issues relating to state and county government.

"Presiding Officer Yatauro’s intern speaking series was a wonderful opportunity for students to familiarize themselves with the different branches of government and how they work in conjunction with the county." Assemblyman Lavine said. "The interns were insightful with intelligent questions and opinions."
