Lavine Applauds New Cassel Revitalization

State Assemblyman Charles D. Lavine (D-Glen Cove) joined Nassau County Executive Thomas R. Suozzi and other elected officials to announce the completion of three New Cassel development sites, part of Nassau County and the Town of North Hempstead's joint New Cassel Revitalization effort. Also present was Bishop Lionel Harvey, a moving force behind the revitalization of New Cassel.
The three completed locations include new condominiums, rental apartments, commercial space, a senior housing complex and a 4,500 square-foot park. Assemblyman Lavine said, “I am proud to be part of New Cassel’s tremendous transformation and excited to see the fruition of the hard, hard work that has been done. Residents of New Cassel well deserve this sound investment in their community.”
