Lavine Score High Environmentally
October 14, 2011
(Glen Cove) Assemblyman Charles Lavine has received the top score from the EPL/Environmental Advocates in their 2011 Voters’ Guide. EPL’s Voters' Guide is a legislative report card which compiles a thorough account of legislative voting records on state environmental legislation for members of both the Assembly and Senate.
The guide’s top rating was awarded to legislators who either voted for or co-sponsored legislation that will bring major benefits to New York’s environment, if implemented. Assemblyman Lavine was proud to support each and every legislative priority chosen by the EPL’s Green Panel.
“EPL/Environmental Advocates has served as a powerful advocate for New York State’s environment and as a stern watchdog over the elected officials empowered to make these important decisions,” said Lavine. “I am proud to have stood with them on each of the important issues they advocated for, and look forward to continuing to stand with them in the future.”
