Assemblyman David DiPietro (R,C,I-East Aurora) recently honored Michael DiJoseph, the owner of a local hot spot in East Aurora, Mikey Dee’s, for outstanding service to his community. Mikey Dee’s is a centerpiece of East Aurora and often serves as a prime spot for celebrations or a regular dinner location. DiPietro was also joined by Erie County Comptroller Stefan I. Mychajliw Jr. to enjoy a great breakfast hosted at Mikey Dee’s.

“Mike is one of those rare individuals who always brightens up a room,” DiPietro said. “He has an energy about him that is obvious to everyone who meets him and that extends to his restaurant. I can’t stress how much Mikey Dee’s serves as a focal point for East Aurora and for our way of life out here. He’s done an amazing job as a business owner and a friend to the village.”
