Bronx, NY – Assemblyman Dinowitz (D-Bronx) announced today that he is once again sponsoring free flu shots for members of the community in the 81st Assembly District. Flu shots will be administered on October 14 at St. Gabriel’s Church on 3250 Arlington Avenue between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. This free service is sponsored by NewYork-Presbyterian Ambulatory Care Network, New York-Presbyterian/Allen Hospital, the Riverspring Certified Home Health Agency, Congressman Eliot Engel, State Senator Jeff Klein, Council Member Andrew Cohen, and the Kingsbridge Riverdale Van Cortlandt Development Corporation.

“I am very pleased to continue this great partnership with NewYork-Presbyterian to offer this important service to the community,” said Assemblyman Dinowitz. “The flu is a serious health matter, and getting a flu shot protects not just yourself but also your friends, family, and neighbors. I encourage everyone to contact my office about getting a free flu shot.”

Please note that members of the community must be 18 years of age or older to participate, and cannot be allergic to eggs. Residents MUST contact Assemblyman Dinowitz’s office at (718) 796-5345 to guarantee a flu shot.
