Assemblywoman Buttenschon Holds Community Collaboration Meeting

Assemblywoman Marianne Buttenschon (D-Utica/Rome) held a community collaboration meeting Friday at her Utica office. Representatives from local, state and federal government offices met to discuss topics relevant to our local communities and potential opportunities for collaborating in the future.

The meeting also included the introduction of Buttenschon's staff to representatives from other political offices, and discussions about best practices, communication, and local projects.

"My goal is to bring everyone to the table,” said Buttenschon. “No matter which office we represent, we all want the same thing – to better our community. I’m hopeful that by working collaboratively, we will come up with solutions that will benefit everyone living in the Mohawk Valley.”

Buttenschon announced that she will be hosting another Community Collaboration Meeting in late June.

Assemblywoman Marianne Buttenschon is a member of the New York State Assembly, representing the 119th District, which includes the cities of Utica, Rome, and towns of Floyd, Frankfort, Marcy and Whitestown.
