Assemblywoman Buttenschon Announces Winners of 2020 Nursing Recognition Awards
Assemblywoman Marianne Buttenschon (D-Utica/Rome) announced the winners of her 2020 Nursing Recognition Awards in the 119th Assembly District. The selfless individuals who work in nursing are celebrated nationwide from May 6 to May 12 in recognition of National Nurses Week.
“The hardworking nurses of our community have always provided us with the best care when it is needed most,” said Buttenschon. “The ongoing public health crisis gripping this country has only reaffirmed how invaluable nurses are to our communities. Every day, they put their health at risk to protect us, and these awards are a way to recognize and honor them for their dedication, skill and tireless commitment.”
