Walsh Caps off Final Spring-Cleaning Event, Collects ~6,000 lbs. of Documents

Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh (R,C-Ballston) partnered with 3N Document Destruction Inc. for a shredding event today at Dockstader Recreation Park in Galway. This was the final event of three drive-thru style spring-cleaning events being held for residents of the 112th Assembly District. The free event allowed residents to safely dispose of their unneeded confidential documents.

“There’s never a better time to get shredding than tax season. More than just clearing space, shredding your sensitive documents is one of the best ways you can protect yourself against identity theft, and it’s also the most environmentally conscious method of disposing of your unwanted paper,” said Walsh.

“A big thank you to Dave and Bob Neville at 3N Document Destruction for another year of helping our community members kick-start their spring cleaning responsibly. Thank you to every resident who joined us today and every volunteer who helped make this event a success. The extraordinary turnout at today’s two-hour event is a testament to the enduring success of our annual spring-cleaning series, which sees increasing participation each year. I look forward to seeing you all again for next year’s events!” Walsh concluded.
