Ban of synthetic marijuana will help protect our children and families
March 30, 2012
“The New York State Health Department is expected to issue an order today prohibiting the sale and distribution of synthetic marijuana. Today’s announcement is a good first step in helping keep our children safe and I applaud the governor for his leadership on this issue. These drugs are extremely dangerous and have no place in our community. We now need to do more and pass a law that bans the sale and possession of synthetic marijuana to protect our children from these dangerous drugs that can have potentially life-threatening side effects.”
