Albany, New York- This past Tuesday, May 21^st, Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato (D-South Queens) hosted the Channel View School for Research (CVSR) in Albany for their annual student government trip. Pheffer Amato and her staff gave the students and faculty a tour around the Capitol, spoke to them within the Assembly Chambers, and brought them to the New York State Museum.

“I couldn't be prouder to represent the students, faculty and parents of Channel View. I hope that heir visit is yet another step towards preparing our students for a life of engagement in their community and beyond,” Pheffer Amato said. “We need more schools like Channel View that prepare our students for leadership both in and outside of the classroom.”
