Pheffer Amato, Broad Channel VFW Serve St. Albans Vets

Broad Channel, Queens – This past Sunday, Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato (D-Broad Channel) helped the Broad Channel Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #260 to serve barbecue to veterans from the Veterans’ Home at St. Albans in Jamaica, Queens. The Broad Channel VFW often volunteers with senior Vets at St. Albans, including this past St. Patrick’s Day.
“Anyone who’s worn a uniform for this country deserves a high level of caring and support,” Pheffer Amato said. “The Broad Channel VFW always goes above and beyond for our veterans and I’m so grateful to them for creating an avenue where we can all give them the caring they deserve!”
