Welcome Letter

Hello and welcome to my State Assembly website! I encourage you to take a look around and learn more about my work representing the 73rd Assembly District, which includes Murray Hill, Turtle Bay, Sutton Place, Midtown East, and the Upper East Side. You can read the legislation I have sponsored, my press releases and monthly newsletters, and media coverage about my work. I also hope you sign up for my email list.

My job is to represent you, and my office serves you and your neighbors in various ways. For example, we are here to direct you to government resources and services, listen to your opinions about legislation, learn about neighborhood issues, attend community events, meet with organizations, and more. You are welcome to visit the District Office (353 Lexington Avenue Suite 704, New York, NY 10016) Monday through Friday between 9 am – 5 pm or call us at 212-605-0937.

I want to ensure that my office can serve your needs as effectively as possible, and so I encourage you to contact my office as follows, depending on the nature of your request:

  • If you would like to request a meeting with me or my staff, or request that I attend an event, please email scheduling@alexbores.nyc.
  • If you are a constituent with a community issue that you think my office may be able to help you resolve, please complete my online form or email BoresA@contactme.nyassembly.gov.
  • If you have a different inquiry, please email BoresA@nyassembly.gov.
  • If you contact a member of my staff, please copy BoresA@nyassembly.gov on the email to ensure we can continue to help you while any individual staff member is out of the office.

If you are contacting my office on behalf of an organization or advocacy group, please keep in mind that I generally only sign budget letters for groups based in my district, and that I may not have time to attend press conferences that occur in Albany.

As your Assemblymember, I am committed to serving you. I look forward to hearing your questions, thoughts, concerns and ideas — regarding both our community and our government.

Thank you again for visiting!

Best,
Alex
