Tague and Colleagues Host FFA State Leaders Experience Breakfast
Assemblyman Chris Tague (R,C-Schoharie) and 13 members of the Assembly and Senate served breakfast to approximately 150 Future Farmers of America (FFA) students visiting Albany for the FFA State Leaders Experience this morning. The students represent over 40 chapters statewide. The breakfast menu was made up of New York state products, including maple syrup and apple cider. After breakfast, students had the opportunity to visit with their local representatives to discuss the legislative issues impacting the field and the impact the agriculture industry as a whole has on our legislative process.
“I was incredibly honored to be with my colleagues from both sides of the aisle in the Legislature as we had the opportunity to host over 150 Future Farmers of America students from all over the state.I am always happy to recognize the importance of this crucial organization, and the importance of teaching agricultural lessons in the classroom. It is critical to continuously educate the next generations on best practices in the agriculture industry as we evolve with ever-changing landscapes culturally, economically and technologically,” said Tague.
