Tague Announces Over $1 Million Approved for Library Construction Projects in 102nd District

Eight local libraries to receive major upgrades following state approval

Assemblyman Chris Tague (R,C-Schoharie) today announced that the New York State Education Department and New York State Library have approved a series of public library construction and renovation projects funded through the FY 2024-2025 State Budget. More than $1 million in state capital funding will support eight separate projects in libraries across the 102nd Assembly District.

“I am thrilled to announce that the New York State Education Department and New York State Library have approved eight construction projects totaling over $1 million supporting local libraries here in the 102nd Assembly District,” said Tague.

“These investments will help modernize our community libraries and upgrade infrastructure, ensuring they continue serving as essential hubs for education across our region. Our libraries provide free resources and opportunities for all ages, and this funding will allow them to thrive for generations to come.
