“With the Assembly Majority focusing on providing incentives for people to break the law, they’re forgetting the thousands of struggling college students in New York. The average student loan debt in 2017 was $39,400, and we’re ignoring their struggle. This amount of debt is simply crippling for someone fresh out of college looking for a job and trying to start a life. Our tax dollars should be creating opportunities for them and lowering their burdens, not rewarding criminal illegals with free college. We’re simply ignoring our children’s struggles and this will come back to haunt us.”
