Assemblyman Chris Tague (R,C,I,Ref-Schoharie) met with Gary Schacher, Commander of the NYS American Legion on Tuesday at his Albany office to deliver a citation for his exemplary efforts on behalf of our nation’s veterans. Commander Schacher, like Tague, is a resident of Schoharie County and both are very resolved to assisting and honoring our nation’s veterans.

“I was immensely honored to meet with Commander Schacher,” Tague said.” Having the opportunity to speak with him about ways we can help our veterans and honor their sacrifices for our country was invigorating. We owe them a great deal for what they have done for us and I am always going to stand by them and our men and women in uniform.”
