Tague: Release of Baby-Killer Ojeda Crosses a Line, Creates Public Safety Alert for Capital Region

A statement from Assemblyman Chris Tague (R-Schoharie)

“It is absolutely sick and disturbing that a man responsible for killing a 6-week-old baby was set free from prison today. That poor child had prior skull injuries. He didn't deserve this. New York state is setting a poor example for our children.

New York Majority politicians have made a mockery of our judicial system and criminals are the only people laughing.

The New York Majority politicians who are responsible for passing this reprehensible law have blood on their hands.

They are making our streets less safe, they have put victims of these crimes in more danger and they are putting others at risk to become victims themselves.

Instead of watching a two-hour power point presentation tomorrow from the man who signed this bill into law, lawmakers should be spending every minute possible repealing this dangerous bill before more people get hurt.”
