Tague Votes To Declare February 2021 “Career and Technical Education Month” in New York

Assemblyman Chris Tague (R,C,I-Schoharie) was joined by other lawmakers in declaring February 2021 as Career and Technical Education Month in New York state in a recently passed legislative resolution. A former student of the BOCES vocational training program in Schoharie, Tague has been a vocal advocate in supporting career and vocational educational programs throughout his time in the Legislature.

“We are blessed to have many great career and training educational programs in our state, including the BOCES and Questar programs in the 102nd Assembly District,” said Tague. “Having experienced these training programs firsthand as a student and seeing how many young people have taken their first steps in lucrative, lifelong careers through them, I will continue to support our career and training programs in their mission to prepare our young people for the working world and am proud to recognize this February as Career and Technical Education Month in New York.”
