Assemblyman Norber Reflects on First Session

Norber is proud to bring small victories back to the district but urges more action on affordability.

Freshman Assemblyman Daniel Norber (R,C-Great Neck), Minority Conference Ranker on the Assembly Small Business Committee, shared his feelings on the conclusion of his first legislative session.

“I’m proud of the progress we made,” said Norber. “I was glad to co-sponsor and get bill A.5448 through the Legislature. This ensures Title VI compliance, strengthening protections and fairness on college campuses. I am happy to take wins where we can get them; however, I’m disappointed we fell short on tackling affordability and easing the burdens on small businesses. New Yorkers are still struggling, and our state’s alarming population exodus demands action. We must do more to make life easier for hard-working families and entrepreneurs.”
