The Yonkers Council of Parent-Teacher Associations hosted a Town Hall style question and answer session for Yonkers Middle High School students. I was joined by Assemblyman Nader Sayegh and State Senator Shelley Mayer. The event was held Friday, March 5th, at the Yonkers Middle High School on Rockland Avenue. The school has students enrolled from grades 7 through 12 and is known for its International Baccalaureate Programme. The IB program is designed to prepare students for higher education in the United States and worldwide. It was a pleasure being a part of the YCPTA event, which provided the opportunity to hear directly from the students their concerns and their take on the issues that affect them.
