Assemblyman Joe DeStefano (R,C-Medford) is proud to announce his appointment as an alternate member of the New York State Assembly Budget Transportation Committee. This key appointment allows DeStefano to play a more active role in addressing the transportation and infrastructure needs of Long Island and the entire state.

As an alternate on the committee, DeStefano will be engaged in discussions on key transportation initiatives, including road and bridge repairs, public transit funding and safety enhancements. His experience in advocating for Long Island communities will be instrumental in ensuring local priorities are represented in statewide transportation decisions.
