DeStefano Attends Albany Press Conference Outlining Budget Priorities

Today, Assemblyman Joe DeStefano (R,C,I,Ref-Medford) attended a press conference outlining the Assembly Minority Conference’s budget priorities in the back of the chamber in the New York State Capitol. Hosted by Assembly Minority Leader Brian M. Kolb, the press conference called for numerous policies to be included in the upcoming 2019-20 budget.

“Today’s press conference was a step forward for New York’s families, communities and municipalities. The policies outlined, such as making the two percent property tax cap permanent and keeping Aid of Incentives to Municipalities (AIM) funding levels and processes intact, are important strides in improving our communities and boosting economic growth. They are commonsense solutions to the struggles every New Yorker has faced. I am proud to stand with Leader Kolb and my colleagues today to call on Gov. Cuomo to include these proposals in the final budget agreement.”
