“At the public protection joint hearing today, all I heard were attempts by the progressive Senate and Assembly Majority to justify their dangerous actions. But their actions can’t be justified as residents in our communities across the state continue to be victimized and killed,” said DeStefano. “Instead of beating around the bush and attending meeting after meeting, we need to productively meet to repeal this dangerous legislation now. We can’t risk any more lives.”
