“The governor’s speeches thus far have been self-promotional. While addressing green energy is important, and while it may bring back jobs, it is going to cost the state a fortune. We are already facing a massive $15 billion budget deficit, spending money we don’t have isn’t an option at this time. The state is in fiscal crisis amid a pandemic without a bailout from Washington. The key to economic recovery is bringing the jobs and business back which have been shut down during the pandemic.”
