Mikulin Helps Ease Blood Shortage on Long Island

Assemblyman John Mikulin (R,C,I-Bethpage) is pleased the blood drive he hosted with the Levittown Fire Department on Thursday, January 30 was a success. Together, they collected 85 pints of blood, which will save 255 lives.

“Blood donations during the winter months typically drop drastically,” said Mikulin. “I am thrilled that we were able to collect 85 pints of blood to help make up for the deficit, as every drop counts. Thank you to all those who came out to help us save our fellow neighbors lives or supported our donors.”
