Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh (R,C-Ballston) presented a New York State Assembly proclamation to Curtis Lumber Co. Inc. today to celebrate the organization's induction into the NYS Historic Business Preservation Registry following Walsh’s nomination. There to receive the award at its flagship location on Route 67 in Ballston Spa were Kylie Holland, executive vice president and co-owner and Doug Ford, vice president of Sales and Purchasing. Curtis Lumber was selected by Walsh for this honor and takes one of ten spots the assemblywoman is permitted to nominate and induct during each term.

The New York State Historic Business Preservation Registry program is administered by the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation and highlights businesses that have been in operation for at least 50 years and have contributed to their community’s history.
