On Tuesday, Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh (R,C,I,Ref-Ballston) welcomed New York’s Class A NYSPHSAA Women’s Field Hockey Champions, Shenendehowa High School to the Assembly Chamber. The team, which achieved an undefeated, 21-0, was presented with a Joint Resolution by Walsh and Sen. Jim Tedisco (R,C,I,Ref-Glenville).
“This team of hard-working young women demonstrated such strength and teamwork by not only maintaining an undefeated 21-0 record, but also achieving the ultimate goal of winning the championship,” said Walsh. “I encourage them to take the skills they have developed during this wonderful season and project them onto the other aspects of their lives. As they have learned this past season, when you work hard and believe, any goal is achievable.”
