Walsh, Saratoga County Sheriff’s Hosts Successful Drug Take-Back Event

Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh (R,C-Ballston) teamed up with the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department and Coburg Village to host a prescription drug take-back event, which offered residents of Coburg Village and the public to safely dispose of old or unneeded prescription medication.

“Since joining the Assembly in 2017, I have had the privilege of hosting several community events and with the help of the Sheriff’s Department have collected several boxes of unwanted drugs at these take-back events,” said Walsh. “Not only does this help to clean out cupboards and drawers, but it provides a convenient opportunity for residents to throw away expired or unwanted medication before it falls into the wrong hands.

“Thank you to Coburg Village for offering up their space to us and, as always, to Sheriff Zurlo and his team for the work they do to keep our communities safe.”

This is the second drug take-back held at the Coburg Village, and Assemblywoman Walsh’s 4th that she has hosted in conjunction with the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department
