The Albany Times Union published an op-ed penned by Senator John A. DeFrancisco (R-Syracuse) and myself, calling for Governor Cuomo to sign our indigent legal services legislation. You can read the full op-ed here (Times Union Plus subscription required).

Editorial boards, including but not limited to the Times Union, the New York Times, and the Buffalo News, have called for this legislation to be signed into law, given the impact it will have on our criminal justice system.
