Assemblyman Ramos Annual Black History Month Celebration’s theme is "They Fought Back" where we will recognize in depth the slaves who stood up and fought against all odds.

Assemblyman Ramos wants to take this opportunity to recognize these slaves as patriots that had the courage and bravery to fight back.

 Special guest speakers New York State Assemblyman Charles Barron and Aaron D. Johnson.

 Bishop Harrison Hale and Pastor Daris Dixon- Clark will both be honored as pioneers and spiritual leaders of Long Island at our Annual Black History Month.
