Assemblyman Ramos Applauds State’s Investment in Brentwood Hospital
“I’m very pleased that more than $4.7 million has been awarded to Brentwood Health Center for infrastructure improvements. These funds will go a long way in ensuring that the hospital remains efficient and patients are taken care of in a safe place, while helping create local jobs. Suffolk families deserve the best delivery of health care and improving our hospitals is a smart, long-term investment for our future.”
The funding has been awarded as part of the Capital Restructuring Financing Programs (CRFP) and is part of $1.2 billion, which was included in last year’s budget that Assemblyman Ramos supported. The capital projects aim to strengthen and promote access to essential services. In Brentwood, the grants will be used for improvements in infrastructure.
