Assemblyman Smullen: Still Time to Register For Annual Veterans Appreciation Picnic

Assemblyman Robert Smullen (R,C,I,SAM – Meco) is reminding veterans, active duty service members and their families that the deadline to register for the 2022 Salute to Service Veterans Appreciation Picnic is fast approaching. The picnic will take place at the Paul Nigra Center in Gloversville on August 25 filled with good drinks, bar-b-que, raffles, prizes and a special tribute to our local veterans and military members.

“This annual dinner is a small show of gratitude to give back to those who gave so much for us – our veterans and current military members,” Smullen said. “We should never lose sight of the unique needs of our veterans and their families and I encourage everyone who is able to join us August 25 for a special event you won’t want to miss.”

**Event is FREE to veterans, active service members and one guest. Please register by August 20 to attend using one of the following:
