Smullen: On West Point Day, We Recognize The Dedication of Young American Heroes

Earlier today, Assemblyman Robert Smullen (R,C-Mohawk Valley and the Adirondacks) met with several young cadets who are currently attending the United States Military Academy at West Point. This West Point Day, Smullen wanted to personally congratulate these hardworking young men and women who are regularly pushing themselves to become commissioned officers in the U.S. Army by dedicating their time and effort at the oldest continuously occupied army post in the U.S. today.

“I am very proud of these cadets’ devotion to our country,” said Smullen. “On West Point Day, it’s important we recognize the efforts of our brave young people who have accepted the challenge and commitment of becoming members of the U.S. Army and who will help defend our country. These are exceptional students who are leaders amongst their peers. I am excited to see what they accomplish in the future.”
