Several subsidized power programs exist in New York State to provide incentives to businesses and not-for-profits operating in the State to create and retain jobs. These hearings/roundtable will examine the various issues related to the State's low-cost power programs. The Committees will use these hearings and roundtable to gather information on the effectiveness and sustainability of these programs, will expore the need for continued low cost energy for businesses and not-for-profits operating in the State.
Oral testimony will be accepted by invitation only. Ten copies of any prepared testimony should be submitted at the hearing registration desk. The Committees would appreciate advance receipt of prepared statements. Written testimony will also be accepted and may be sent to the contact person listed on the reply form and/or may be submitted at the hearing registration desk.
In order to further publicize these hearings and roundtable, please inform interested parties and organizations of the Committees' interest in receiving written testimony from all sources.
